Sumla is a shared cash book for people and places sharing expenses. Use it to keep a clear account with people who are entitled to see the book.
Your account
Use a verified account that belongs to you, keep your account information accurate, and protect access to it. Do not use another person’s account or represent someone else without their permission.
Books, members, and records
Create and manage books only for people and expenses you are authorised to include. Respect membership roles, invite people only when you have permission, and record expenses, allocations, comments, and evidence accurately.
Balances and disagreements
Balances reflect the records in a book. Check entries, shares, and the people involved before relying on a balance. If something is disputed, work with the relevant members to correct the record before treating it as settled.
Settlement and payment
Sumla records a settlement as requested, sent, and confirmed so the book can reflect the agreement between members. It does not hold or move funds: choose an external payment method, complete it directly, and confirm the record when the payment is complete.
Use with care
Use Sumla lawfully and with the authority to record the people, expenses, and evidence you add. Keep the book honest: accurate records and deliberate confirmations make it useful to everyone in it.
